Our clients wanted to explore the possibility of a fresh start in their new 3BHK villa, while still retaining a large section of their existing furniture from their previous 2BHK villa. The brief was seemingly quite simple - to encapsulate a feeling of comfort.

 

We evaluated the existing furniture and decided on what could be retained as is, and what could use a little face lift. The design styles we worked with are: Industrial, Masculine, and Tranquility. The dark grey sofa was reupholstered to a soft greige, the dining chairs were reupholstered from black to a vibrant blue, and the coffee table had the top swapped out to a white marble - simply changing those 3 elements had a huge impact on brightening the new space. The existing clocks were arranged by the entrance as a feature wall, and the existing TV unit was styled with carefully selected eclectic accessories. We matched the window drapery to the existing wall color, creating an overall soft and dreamy look. Finally, we layered color into the space though lots of throw cushions, a bold statement rug and some greenery. The overall result is light and airy space with a modern aesthetic, combining lots of color and contemporary furnishings with some industrial style elements.
